I am thinking about putting 4 10" subs in my 99 Chevy Silverado Extended Cab, anyone on here have any recommendations? i.e. - go with 8's instead of 10's.

Lot of factors to consider for anyone to give you good feedback. Output will obviously be different with four 8's, 10's, etc. it's kind of a question with a million different answers(mainly opinions) unless you state your goals, budget, available space for enclosure,etc

Had 4 10's for years before I got my 15's, which took their place.

8's 10's...whichever you decide will also determine how much airspace you got.
