I openly admit that I'm a Clarion owner, and even I wouldn't recommend them. Unless they've stepped their game up in a big way within the last two years, they're nothing special.

The only experience I have with JVC Arsenal equipment is a single din cd player that I installed in one of my friend's vehicles. It has a ton of color options and it's a nice unit, but I'm sure it isn't even slightly comparable to their higher end dvd units. Honestly, I wouldn't mind getting some hands on time with one of those Arsenal double din dvd players.

I have extensive hands on time with the Alpine IVA-W505 and can attest to it's badassedness. It looks clean as hell, it has decent eq features and the iPod integration is insane. The price is good too. A year ago the dvd unit alone was selling for nearly $1,000. Unless I'm mistaken, it was Alpine's flagship dvd player until the INA-W900 was released earlier this year.

Nice write up mang.. A;right , I got the info, now its time to see whaats going on with the car situation, then picking up one of these bishes... Check my " Official " car thread in the dome.. thats the civic I was looking at. looked to good to pass up and caught the eye.. remember tho, Im not looking for anything sporty pimpin, just a reliable car that will last

Honestly man, i didnt mean any particular model number. If its a JVC and says Arsenal then its top of the line. I would back any model number if its in the arsenal line up, just like i would back any Alpine.

Call me a nuthugger if you want, but I've always been an Alpine guy. Even so, the Avic-X920BT is a nice unit.
