I beat the livin crap out of a Kicker KX700.5 in my Jeep Wrangler and it survived. Rain,mud, dust, you name it. Sound quality? That depends. I have strong opinions about about what people CLAIM they can hear an what they can ACTUALLY hear. I doubt 99.9% of people can hear the difference after proper EQ'ing.

don mean to thread jack but quick question yall. i got a pair of selenium compression horn drivers that are 150rms i believe and 8ohmhttp://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&Partnumber=264-204 . i wanna kno if it's fine to run them off the sub channel on a 5ch amp? they gona be wired down to 4ohms so they'll share the power so is it safe to run them.
