Any golfers?

Just got back into playing after about 6 years. Used to casually golf in high school.

Need to pick up new clubs. I can't drive worth a shit with my driver/woods, slice everything. Used my brother-in-laws driver and was hitting perfect drives on the driving range, so I think it's time for new drivers. Also, my irons are shot, and I desperately need a lob wedge.

Any suggestions on some decently affordable clubs? There's a nice shop around here that sells used clubs that are still in very good condition, gonna go there to see what I can pick up.

Stayed in a hotel that was on a golf course once...waking up and looking out the window to a golf course is awesome.

Worked at a golf course for 3 summers and got free golf. Thing is, I only played golf about 8 times. And three of those times I was drinking. Worked out there so much, I didn't really care about being out there 2 hours longer playing golf.. Even though I hated going to bed early on Friday nights, I never could b1tch about those summer Saturday mornings watching the sun rise at 6 A.M. Golf courses can be beautiful places.

Main thing I gathered was that the game was A LOT harder than it seemed. And i enjoyed it more the more I drank.

I work at a golf course and play 3-4 times a week. Just started playing last summer and love it.

I would recommend clubs but I'm not too familiar with many clubs. My only recommendation is to go to a Golf Galaxy or Dicks and hit as many different clubs as you can and get a feel for what feels right for you.
