Im looking to get a sony 46" W series TV. Knowing that the new models should be arriving sometime early this year, I dont want to purchase it and then a week later its on clearance. Anybody work at best buy that can tell me when will be the best time to get a hdtv?

Employees don't know when it will go on sale until it actually does. When I worked there, we kept all the weekly ads locked up until Sunday morning and when things went on clearence, it was that day that we found out

stuff always goes on sale 6 months or so, that's how consumer electronics work

you can get a bad *** top of the line referance tv for $5000 today and by next year it will be ok at best

take the Iphone or any blackberry, everyone wants the newest all the time. The phones are exepnsive but people buy a new one everytime they come out

just go buy your **** tv and stop being a tight ***

There is no set electronics sale. They go on sale when the company releases new models or the store wants to clear out old shit before bringing in new. Just find a friend and get an employee discount.

If you did buy it and it went on clearance a week later you can go back with your receipt and they will refund the difference. It works that way at alot of stores.

you heard wrong. when i worked there ( a year ago) it was cost plus 5%. on some tvs, it was 40-50% off

theyll only refund you the difference but its better then nothing.

if it go's on sale @ bb, they refund you the difference. if you find it cheaper elsewhere, they refund you 110% of the difference.

Some employee pricing is great and can be discounted over 50 %. Some can be discounted just a few dollars. all depends on what it is. . My friend works there.
