Any Amp recomendations

OK so I recently added two 12 inch subs to my jeep and am now looking to get a speaker amp. I have 6 1/2 Alpine Type-R's in the front (max RMS 100) and 5 1/4 Type-R's in the rear (max RMS 90). I was wondering whether I should go with a 4 channel amp or just a two channel amp to power just the fronts. Just wondering what amps or manufactures people would recomend. Thanks in advance.

What would he need that for, if it is for his highs?
Let me guess..... Are you are a boom, boom, sizzle, sizzle guy who likes to hear nothing in the middle? Do you even know where midbass frequencies come from (i.e. what speakers produce midbass frequencies)? Here is a hint, your subwoofers shouldn't be producing midbass frequencies! So what does that leave?

what frequencies are considered midbass 80-200??

Although different individuals and sources will state varying frequencies for midbass, the 80 - 200 Hz area is where the PDX amps seem to be lacking. I was told that this could be corrected with a little EQing, but I have yet to figure out the reason why the PDX amps seem to be lacking in this range:confused:

Not only have I noticed the PDX series to be lacking in vehicles, but I have also noticed this when doing direct comparisons to other amps on the local dealer's soundboard.

McIntosh MCC404 ... seriously man, a budget would be helpful.
one would assume his budget would be similar to that of his speakers...

say 150-250 for the amp I would think.

Those 6.5 Type Rs like power. A cadence TXA 6004 would power the fronts and rears nice but are big. What kind of jeep is this?

Beyond that to power those speakers well I would look for 2x 4 channels and bridge them so you can get good clean power to them.
