Any 8" subs that can handle 300w + ?

Probrably many but the SS82 from CMass comes to mind. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/hide.gif.2d479cfd917eedfe201353b91522ceab.gif Comes in at about $200 (retail) and 500 rms/ 1000 peak

How is the SQ on the SS82?
Of course that is subjective. I have to say they are very good. I am more than satisfied as they have exceeded my expectations. I still haven't got much time on the UL's because the 8's are so **** good! LOL Looks like you are running the ID's, so you have some good ones.

The older version of the Ascendant audio Assassin 8 could handle 300-400 watts of clean power... The new versions should be able to take that power too.Soundsplinter RL-i is another that comes to mind. DD 1008 and 1508s can take that no problem. I'm sure there are a few others too...

Btw, How many 8's do you plan on running?

1) Old and new Assassin

2) DD 1508 or 1008

3) SS RLi

4) CMass SS82

5) True Bass 8"er

6) AudioQue SD2

For the price you can get old Assassins for, they're **** hard to beat. They sound great and can handle 500-600 watts without any issues, but only need 300 or so to get moving.
