Hey im ryan new to the sight but been into car audio since ihve had a car. Ive gotten jacked 2s , one being an eclipse 8000 something infinity 500.1 and 2 12.1 kappa perfects, which was my best system. I miss it but thats what happens when you live in dallas. Any ways im looking at a budget of 800-1k for a new system. Ive done a little research and im thinking a eclipse 5100, alpine r 12s, and probably a 4 channel infinity or eclipse. I have MM6501s in the front ( suppose to only hold 5 1/4 but i mad em fit lol), db6501in back an alpine 500.1, a ported box for 2 12s with some hand me down like 6 year old Cvr. I know im doin bad. and last night while i was working on it the crappy hifonics amp the rc inputs broke off. They gave me that crap because they stopped making the kicker amp i had on warranty. any ways id like a little help i know for sure the cd player, amp, and subs but i dont know about eq or anything like that never had one, and im going to have to buy new amp install kits so i need to keep the cost to a minimum, i may need some money if my dad loses his job. So basically i want a good system hopefully spending around 600. And i also have a prestige alarm but i dont think its sensitive enough how do i go about making it harder for people to break in. Thanks for reading all that. I should have my money in a week or so. And o yea if you know any places to get the hook up on the deals let me know..

Hifonics amps are regarded as good cheap amps on here so your prolly gonna catch some junk bout that. and the R 12's are good first choices. Wat have you done to your regular door speakers? You may want to go ahead and upgrade those first instead of gettin a sub stage.

i cant thin between the eclipse 8000 or the Alpine 9886 with my alpine 500 watt for now which is jackin my mirrors up already. do u think i should get a capacitor as well i get pretty bad head light diming, or anything else such as eq, i want it to sound good but i need to save some money rough times now. Plus my 9 year old chevy tracker aint the best platform. i need help on the mono and 4 channel amp to thanks.

dont get a capacitor....if you havent already done the "big3" do it...if ya dont kno wat that is search...lots will come up.

it is seems like im getting An Eclipse cd8445 (145 shipped), JBL GTO 75.4 (100 sjipped), 2 alpine 12 rs (still lookin). (let me know if those a good deals or if i should keep looking)

and how big of a capacitor should i get if i plan to upgrade a max of 1000 watt sub and with the 300.4. Or do i even need ne if i do the Big 3 upgrade he was talking about?

So i have about 400 for the subs, install kits, capacitor and what ever else, so any suggestions on anything else that i could afford that will help my sound the most for the cheapest let me know

And with my polks (MM6501, Db 6501) the 500.1 watt alpine for now and the ported 2 12" box seem like a decent building off point along with the eclipse hu and jbl amp?

If you know where to2 get 2 amp install kits (which gauge should i get , want room for a little upgrade) and any suggestions a decent priced kit?

Any other suggestions welcomed thanks.

Where exactly are you?

Right off the bat, do the big 3 in 0 gauge wire, run 0 gauge everywhere and do not get a capacitor. You'd be wasting your money.

Just put a small battery near the amplifier, like a Kinetik 800 or something along those lines. Would be 100x better than a shitty capacitor.
