Another 'which comps do you suggest' thread...

I'm new here, but have been lurking for the past couple of weeks.

Here's my issue, I'm looking for a set of comps to put in my 2007 Saturn Ion quad coupe. There are 6.5" holes for speakers in the doors, 2.25" depth (can be made up to 2.75 if absolutely needed), and I would mount the tweeter in the sail panel. They will be HU powered until I can find an amp. I'm looking to spend

I've been looking at the Crystal SSCS6's, but they're not that easy to find (without paying $20+ for ground shipping ).

Ummm...yeah, any other suggestions??

I hear they are pretty good, just watch your mounting depth.

The crystals you were looking at have a 3.1 depth requirement. U would need an almost inch spacer if you really wanted them. PM Toxic Taun for more info on the crystals.

Also don't forget about CDT, they make some excellent speakers in your price range.

CDT's would be my choice for $100, but with a $200 Id go with the crystals, Those are my next pair most likely.
