I need to find an amp, or at least know what volltage amp and how many channels will i need in one, would like to go with pioneer or sound stream, as they seem to be very high quality. Not looking for somethign over expensive. Proberly $250us if possible, but can go higher.

I will be running two PIONEER -TSW306DVC-12" Component Subwoofer 1000W POWER. THe box will be almost exactly the reconmended size, if that makes a difference.

Size: 12 inch

Rec. Sealed Box Dims: 0.85 - 1.75 cu.ft.

Rec. Ported Box Dims: not recommended

Free Air Usage: not recommended

Sensitivity: 89 dB

Frequency Response: 18-500 Hz

Recommended RMS Power: 400W

Peak Power Handling: 1000W

Impedance: dual 4 ohms subwoofer wiring options

I will be running the stock front speakers for now i think, but may change later on, i will be runnign in the rear - PIONEER TS-D691R 2-Way Speaker with 350 Watts Max Power.

» Size: 6 X 9

» Sensitivity: 91 dB

» Frequency Response: 22-32,000 Hz

» Recommended RMS Power: 40-80W

» Peak Power Handling: 350W

And the deck will be - Pioneer DEHP6800MP In-Dash CD/MP3/WMA/WAV Receiver

yuk!please do not use pionner amps, they ****!soundstream is ok,but there are alot better ones out there in that price range.and get a class d mono amp for the subs.they are alot more efficient!you'll need something in the range of 800-1000watts

you will need to change the front speakers to keep up with the rest of the system, stock fronts will not get loud enough and will distort!

i would get better fonts and run them off a 100 x2 amp and run the 6x9's off the headunit.

what kind of car is this going in?

Mazda 323 Protege.

What amps are good also, if those two are not that great.
