Another what to buy thread...

So I have a friend who has a 2.0T jetta (yeah yeah I know) and he wants to put a system in it.

I just gave him two RF punch p3 12"s in a sealed box, my questions are:

with a $300-400 budget:

What is a decent head unit (nothing fancy, LPF and a decent equilizer)

Decent amp to power the subs? (subs are 500w RMS each)

and if there is any money leftover, decent components.

He isn't looking for anything crazy, and he already has subs. Just something that will be functional and sound nice.

Look into a lower level Pioneer for HU and Profile for a budget sub amp. I've had good luck with both.

id say keep it to hu and amp. for that money u can run them well. get a nice used pioneer, and look around for amps. u should have plenty of money left for an amp. i donkt know the power required for those subs so u may still have some money left over
