situation: building another 159.9 bass racer to debut at SBN
vehicle: 1993 silverado cut out

amps: sundown 1500s and will use however many it takes depending on the woofer setup

heres where I get into a bind...i HATE deciding on new setups because I always feel I went the wrong way so I'm going to set up a little vote

I'm thinking either....

6 Nightshade 15s in a 4th order

18 incriminator Lethal 12s sealed

24 187 12s sealed

8 nightshade 15s in a normal ported setup

basically I give myself a headache thinking about whats best...if it was your setup what would you do?

Max enclosure is around 110 cubes

we the 24 187's and 18 IL's will be a pain in the ***. Too many **** subs.

8 nightshades is what I would do.

But with more woofers you don't have as much power per and don't have to worry about killing woofers every run

I could do 16 10s with 8 1500s or 12 12s with 6 1500s and be fine

Whateve you so, build something you can demo like crazy too... and not have to worry about shit fucking up.

It's lame to see a bassrace car demo for like 30 second full tilt... and then have to turn it off a few minutes... then go at it again.

Thats the thing I hated about running 6kw per sub.

After a full tilt run they were so warm you had to wait for em to cool 5 minutes or so.

I want to make a setup like I used to run where it didn't take a million watts to be loud

I had 12 Incriminator 187 10s that would do a 155 with just a 2kd

I think the 4th order would be the coolest. 24x 10's would be sick, and easy on equipment. As you know, when built correctly a high power 4th order will WANG.
