Another Ticket

got a ticket the other day, actually 2, in 4 hours, the first one was disturbing the peace, i was showing my buddy my system, 3 seconds on 1 minute off, just so it wasnt constant, i shut it off after about 10 min. which would be 30 seconds total running time in my driveway. 2 min after i shut it off cop shows up tell him it was only for 3 seconds at a time bla bla...245 dollar ticket...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

so at about 9 o'clock that night i was going with my dad to get burgers at bk, get up to the stop sign about to leave town pull out andmy tires sqeal, cop hits the lights pulls me over, i told him they were new tires andthey probably werent filled up all the way, i check them in front of him and one was 22 and the other was 26 or so, rated at best is 35, so he still doesnt believe me that i didnt mean to do it(like i was tryin to impress my dad in my pos)another 172 dollar disorderly conduct ticket...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/*******.gif.a649d21efc0d1fd4890a6428166586c1.gif i have had a sh***y week

I used to get the noise voilation tickets around the Chicagoland area all the time. It got to the point where the judge would dismiss my case as soon as he saw my face. They are a pain in the butt, but rules are rules.....

That's not true, as long as someone reports it's your gonna get a ticket, for disturbing the "Peace."

I wouldn't have known what they was talking about when the police came and said I was playing a system. Innocent untill proven guilty, by law, or supposebly. What's their physical evedience if the lady didn't video tape it?

I'd fight the system ticket, considering there is no physical evidence, and I hightly doubt the women that turned you in is going to actually go testify. If she does you know the drill.

I wouldn't try and fight the spinning the tires though, theres really nothing you can do.

good. you should get the noise ticket thrown out for sure. for all the cop knows the lady might not like you and called the cops for no reason.

wow thats pretty lame... even when i used to get the cops called to my apartment at 3am for blasting music and several underage ppl drunk off they're *** we would only get a warning... just the old "if i have to come back out here again..." lecture

hahaha i get that lecture alll the time, i love it, plus my town is pretty big so its usually a different cop the next time
