i had infinity's top of the line set which cost a few times as much and these rsd's blow them out of the water. also a 350.2 isn't enough power for them IMO.Well I had the rsd's in my 01 jetta... stock locations for mid and tweet. Doors are deadened with dynamat. Running of a kicker zx350.2 from a pioneer avic d3. They sounded alright, but they weren't that amazing. In fact I would actually say that my friends infinity refrence comps sounded about the same as the rsds. IDK maybe it was the install because everyone seems to be utterly impressed by the rsds but I thought they sounded very average
how did your 350.2 do 200 a side when my 550.2 did 205 per side?Well they are rated at 60 rms... most people push 120+ to them and my amps birthsheet is 387rms so thats almost 200 per side... ? don't see how that isn't enough power but sound is also subjective and i'm just saying imo i didn't like the sound quality. They sounded like a $100 speaker to me not a $300 one
yea i just looked it up, it's rated at 110 x2 @ 4 ohms, at 14.4 it'll probably do about 120-125 or so at 4 ohms though. but still i think the rsd's need a bit more. i'm running mine active (so no passives to **** up power) and i have 300 per side. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gifhmm if it's 350.2 wouldn't that be 175 rms per side at 2 ohms? Don't understand how it could only be 110, but I guess I could be wrong lol.
you weren't running them at 2 ohms. they are a 4 ohm set, so they can only be run at 4 ohms.Yeah that's a lot lol but if you are running them at 2 ohms it would be more power right?? Either way I was just saying I wasn't particularily pleased with the rsds but if others are then more power to you!
