Another redundant comparison

To the guy that wonders why I should go with more than 1 10, I used to have a cheap basslink in my trunk of my old blazer, and it was just enough of what I needed, though the range absolutely sucked and I never played it loud enough to cause a ruckus. I don't need to fill my trunk with speakers, I need to fill the frequency I'm not getting with my coax. If 1 10" at 150 RMS was decent, I don't see how anything more than 1 10" at around 400-500 RMS won't give me just what I need. If there's an argument against that, please enlighten me.

Thanks a lot for the help you guys. Every time I come, I get an eccentric array of input.

Anyway, I only need 1 sub due to the acoustics of the vehicle and the desire to not drown out the mid-level bass. If there's an argument as to why I should get more than one sub or more than a 10", I'm all ears.
