you should relocate the switch to make it harder to find. Or wire the hot to a bolt that is isolated from the car and use a jumper, like a coin or key to trigger it.

In my 81 caprice, I had SS emblems on the fender, if you jumped them the trunk opened.

well the button does not work so im good as long as i do not loose my key.

I don't have a trunk pop button, nor do my rear seats fold down. I can barely get into the trunk with the key.

Yeah. Actually, most of my friends don't know where I live. And after this group of 20 year old something people(about 6 of them) moved in right in the front of the neighborhood, i've never bumped my music near my neighborhood again cause they would stare me down everytime I came in. They knew what they wanted when they came and they got it. If I see them again, then hooray. But right now, i'm moving on. Get something better than the PRs. Maybe a RE audio SE or SX 15".

But thank goodness they didn't steal the HU because that would have been another $150 right there.
