Usually I get the warning, but the trooper said it would be a lot better then the $200 ticket and points for speeding. He was also into car audio, so I think that saved me.

Why? I had limo tint on all my windows except for the windshield. I couldn't see anything at night so I got rid of it. It is more dangerous than anything. Plus would you want to be a cop and walk up to a black window??? The law is set that way because people have been killed.

still a gay law.......on the other hand i did have 5 % limo all the way around took it off the roll ups and put 30% on and i got a ticket but before i have 9 or 10 warnings for the 5%

My tint is 5% on all windows except the windshield... haven't been bothered much, but I drive with my windows down every time I'm driving unless it's raining... it's a form of claustrophobia where I need outside air... I want to tint the front windshield, but I can't afford anymore tickets.

I want to tint my windshield because you can see a big wall with subwoofers... I wouldn't do 5, but maybe 40-50%

Yeah, pretty much. I know here in Alabama if you get a ticket for anything wrong with your vehicle such as tint, blown taillight, things like that, you have 72 hours to fix the problem and have it signed by a state trooper or judge or you will have to pay the ticket
