Guess who got something new today??? Yep you guessed it. Me! I bought my neighbors '86 sonoma 2wd reg cab for $500. Body is almost perfect and frame is straight and not rusted. Going to be laying frame, body droppin, shavin, and going with an all out custom mini. I will keep the jeep as a daily driver and winter truck.

So what are you guys with reg cabs doing for systems? I don't want a cut through and would like something kinda neat. Let me see your ideas.

i have thought about the infinity basslink and the bazooka but I think I may do something custom and put it in a console. through some type rs in there?

pretty easy to get a decent sized sub back there if you are willing to make the box perminate. 2 ss rl-i or 8's 2 solobaric 8's would be sweet you can fit up to 5.75" deep sub there without losing but a notch maybe of leg room (i have a bench it moves by notches lol) just depends what you want

I'm puttin buckets in it so I can do a custom console with my 5" tv in it. May have to make it house 2 10s.

id tuck it away and turn the back cab into the box and amp rack. i have an 89 s-10 reg cab . between a screen and a dvd player and so forth i would do the console to accomidate the video/dvd/game system. unless you wanted to redo the dash in a way to fit the dvd in. anyway you do it though it will be fun.

my cd player is going in the normal spot and my dvd player is going up by my dvd in a custom housing. its going to eject the disc @ an angle toward the drivers side. could I fit 2 10s in the console or should I go with 1 10?

Kicks: Image Dynamics CS1.6(Full Set. Horns, Crossover, Mids, Tweets)

Amp: ?????

Subs: 2 Image Dynamics IDMAX 10s

Sub Amp: ?????

I heard a compelete Image Dynamics system today and it blew my mind away. It sounded so clean and crisp it blew my mind. I felt like i was sitting right @ the show. So amazing.

Now what to power them with?

amps really just depends on your budget.

if i would go with the CS1.6 would I need to buy tweets to or are the horns gona be more than enough. I was going to put the 4s in the dash because it would fire @ the windsheild and then direct sound up towards the ears. I may just do the CS1.6 then and save some dough(about $100).

Are the ID MAXs gona be tooo much? Should I go with a different setup? I'm about to start buying stuff because the noma is getting body dropped, bagged, shaved, and painted this winter. so I gota get stuff soon.

horns and mid(5.25 or 6.5") are all you need there. 1 id max 10 in the console or 2 id 10's in back...u fit an idmax in back without a bed cut out ill call you whodini myself lol
