another new car thread

I got in a car accident and the body shop wants $2,000 to fix my car... and the idea that was proposed to me was that I should put the $2,000 towards another used car and get something a little newer/better.

My current car has 135,000 miles and was worth around ~$2,000... I am going to wall off the car, provided I don't get a new car and use it as a daily driver competing in Street Max 1-2.

Cars I was looking at include: Ford Crown Victoria, Lincoln Towncar, etc.. but I don't even care if it's a car anymore. I need room for a wall, 2 seats, less than 100,000 miles, big trunk, decent gas mileage.

I may just fix my car with Tom if I can find the parts at the junkyard, but if not then a new car might just be the solution.

older crown vics have nice trunk space( assuming u can find one that doesnt have high miles. i can fit probably 7 mexicans in the trunk of the womans car
thats true, everytime my family and i went to the dodger games we used to fit 10 people in my aunts crown vic.

Not to thread jack but as were on the car fixing side of things, will a caddy door from a local junkyard to replace mine be less money than a whole new replced one?

oh yea you could always go with a grand marquis.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

You may want to pm David706 he has a 1986 cutlass cierra for sale-- I believe he is in GA. -- just tell him Renee told ya to give him a hollah!
That cutlass (I have an 89) is not car audio friendly. No stock location for mids, and biggest box size you can fit into trunk is 16 x 16 x 40 (external).

My car goes in the body shop tomorrow morning and I should be getting it back on Friday or so. I have to make a decision..

Do I want to sell my car when it's fixed for 3-4 grand and get a Blazer? I've been looking at them lately and they're so sweet... and I could still keep 4-5 passengers and get louder then my car could get.

You have to be the stupidest motherfucker ever born.

Are you actually asking if buying a used door from a junkyard would be cheaper than buying a brand new one?

How did you make it this far in life? Judging by your level of intellect, I would have thought there would have been a fork in a light socket or a game of dodgeball with a semi by now.

Kenny, before you decide on a different car, look around the net for reviews and common problem, so you know what to look for when you check the vehicle out.
