correct me if im wrong, but when you run an amp below rated imp.....its better (for the amps efficency and purformance) for them to see higher voltage than lower voltage (14v vs 12v) correct?

To a certain extent. Like a 20.1 for example, I would NOT run it @.175 and 16v...

But in your case, yeah keep the voltage solid.

hmmm...16v is alot...... 14+ probly...i dunno about 16v....someone should test it....
