Another how to recone thread (XXX12 edition)

I used a ton of Goop... the CA glue made my cone (and dust cap before I replaced it) white... even without accelerator. The fumes from it or something messed it up.

hey i took my CSX soft parts out to get ready for recone. the coil was litterally in 2 HUGE strands like 40 feet long and the rest was on the softparts. well i take it all out and look down, theres still coil wrapped around the bottom of the motor all the way down there. any idea on how to git something down that 1 centimeter gap and get the coil qwrapped around the base of it?

so scott has those laying around? i wouldn't mind paying him alittle extra to pop one of those on it...

Yea but the blank caps are not nearly as stong as the boox style ones.

I had an SX 12 with that cap and it popped off one day, thats why I put an extra bead of glue on this one.

Its not a big deal, just had to glue it back on. This one is not coming off EVER. lol
