Ok, at the top of my road there is a trailer park. A local builder baught all the land and plans on putting cabin type houses in there place. So all the people have moved out of the trailers and left pretty much everything. Person who is cleaning it all up says that we (my dad and me) can come up and take anything we want. My dad made a trip up there earlyer in the day and found a butt load of "goodies". Here are a coulpe pictures of what I mean...

Those are all cinderblacks, pavers, paversteps. If you figure at least $2-3 a peice, we're making out pretty freaken good. That is 1, one trailer and there is probably at least 10 trailers up there. There is also lots of deck posts, landscape timbers, and treated 4x4 and 6x6's. Its not in perfect condition but good enough. All of it for free!!!! I'm pretty pumped about it. Gonna make another round tomorrow morning and in the afternoon let alone Monday and Tuesday.

Can't go wrong with free //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/santa.gif.e1ec9cf2e0a0dd232ad35aa594a126d0.gif :santa: //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif

Well I do a lot of building/landscaping. These type of things are perfect for both. Saves a butt load of money and it helps clean up the road (looks like shit with all the trailers there right now and before).

why not take the trailor itself, figure aluminum goes for $1-$2 a lb for "high grade" at recycling plants... 1000lb (?) trailor.... = $$$
He has the right idea, I talked to a Farmer who had someone drop an abandon trailer off on one of his properties and he said he caught some tweakers striping it of the aluminum. He kicked them off the property and took the aluminum in himself and a good amount for it. I don't recall how much exactly though.

Awesome, i love free stuff.

Figured out last week we were throwing away about 50 pounds of 2 Copper every 2 days at work. We actually throw much much more away but this is 1/0 gauge so it takes 2 seconds to strip compared to multi conducter. Anyways, I got a gate pass and started taking it home...

Should see around 2000 at the Recylers at the end of the month

Ehh, there pretty trashy. No wait, that that back. They're disgusting!!! I looked inside a couple of them and there is shit and trash covering the whole floor. People were either scummy or left everything b/c they didn't give a shit.

If it is useful and free, GREAT FIND BUDDY!

My thoughts exactly!! We can always use crap like that in builds and on jobs.

I'm just a country kid, what can I say. Stuff like that is always good to find. Shoot I'll probably take some of the stuff to local auctions and auction the crap off. Like I said above, some of that stuff sells for at least $2-3 a piece. That that times a couple hundred blocks, and I have my a new component set or nice new amp coming my way //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

dude that is so lazy, i wish i knew where old trailors were

you dont have any handy-man friends? cut them in a $100 a piece to shovel out all the shit , use there big dually pickup trucks and cut the trailor into pieces and throw it in the back ... im tellin you, people make a living doin this

or support a very high priced addiction... but either way its alot of money
