For all you parents out there......and married people

There is an unspoken taboo in our society where if you admit that having kids wasn't quite what you thought it would be and that if you could do it all over again that you would have chosen NOT to have kids, that you are a monster, an evil, despicable monster.
The truth is a large percentage of parents HATE being parents. They will never say it out loud and they can't even admit that to themselves because "only an evil demon" would come to that conclusion, they think.

However, underneath it all, underneath all the B.S. is the truth that we all know:

Children are overrated.

For every precious moment where the little brat does something special, there are 1,000 moments where they drive you crazy.

They literally tear your life upside down. Marriage, *** life, your wives appearance, your social life, the list goes on and on and on.

Oh yeah, the worst part is yet to come - the teenage years. I could write volumes on this subject.

The reason people have children is because of this unwritten societal norm where the standard is to get married and immediately begin to produce offspring because "that's the thing to do".

Here's another fact for you if you're interested in the subject: the highest points of martial satisfaction are: 1) after the kids leave and 2) before the kids were born. Look it up, it's true.

in todays society there are so many ****ed up kids that are a pain in the *** ^^ those are bad parents... they really need to learn to control their child and be a good parent. im on 19 years old and i know that i could control my child better than most people i know they do so many things wrong.. but i dunno i believe if you train your children well they will provide more joy to you than u could imagine but.. i dunno just my $.02

P.S. MTV ruined this country

This world is over populated anyways. That thinking would only benefit the world to an extent. As for me, my kid is the greatest thing I have.

personally im not married but i do have a 5 year old who i lvoe to death... He makes life worth living... I couldnt imagine life without him. I'm more in love with my child then any woman i have ever dated or anyone i have ever known. That post is BS.... The reality is that at least my son does 10,000 things that warm my heart and make me so happy in life to every 1 thing that he does to where i have to cringe... Is it easy ? nope not at all specially being a disabled single father but the reality is that children are as great as most parents make them out to be... Its all about how you look at life and what you have created.

I have only been a dad for 5 months....was very uncomfortable in the beginning....now i wouldn't change a thing.

*** life is still great, in some cases even better. And as far as my wife...because of the baby she has put more effort into her health...she is at the figure she had before the baby...and she is only getting more fit.

Kids can ruin some peoples lives...but only if they allow it. Social life? Funny topic actually. I have friends and family that have called out of nowhere and asked if they could babysit. I would say we have no money, and they would willingly give us money so we could have a night out....but i am betting that is just my family.

my *** life also actually got better with my sons mom after his birth, it was kinda best ever... And as far as social life its awesome... You get to meet the other parrents and kids at like soccer and baseball and all sorts of activities... Helps to keep me grown up too and think before i do some stuff... gotta say the original post is just made by some bitter person who is un happy in life and wants to blaim it on kids... Definatly not a parent
