just dont glue the whammy in place , so you can adjust it when testing to find the sweet spot

seriously tho he is 1100% right. and that box looks good. now if you want to smoot out the port grab a sonotube and angle the port intrance.

This going in a XCab? What did the other box look like? Sub forward is usually only if you have a half wall. I like sub up, port to the side in Xcabs.

I tried every configuration you can think of and my box design was the loudest of 12 boxes 152.8 all day with two batteries engine off too. With 2-12s and 2 powerbass xta 5000 s strapped at .7

In my s10 tried ports and subs forward subs up port up. Port to the side. Ports along the back window. Aeros and slot. And all med. and large boxes too

so I built that final design today... I didnt have much time to experiment with it but there is pretty much no difference between the 1st one and the one that I built today... only thing is that it sounds louder sealed, but it doesnt play as low as the first box... Im kind of lost here but tomorrow I will be going full power so well see how loud it feels...

You really need to get the port loading off of something. In an xcab, the listener is entirely too close to the sub and port so you have to manipulate the wave somehow.

This rule only applies to smaller setups (obviously).

right now im loading the sub and the port off of the roof... I think I just need more power because it isnt even close to reaching full excursion...
