no letter "F" in the Tagalog languange. "Filipino" and "Philippines" are American words. in Tagalog it would be spelled Pilipino and Pilipinas. since English is also an official language of Philippines the alternate spellings are accepted

thanks for welcoming... yeah we just spell it philippines.. but in our native laguange its Pilipinas thats why we called Pilipinos... and yeah English is our second language here... dont be a racist coz we are all the same.. Mabuhay to all of the filipinos here!!!
