Aight, I would have kept that too myself. I'm serious about the wax. A little bit on a screw will make it easier to screw into the wood with less chance of splitting. The wax acts as a lubricant. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I've seen this done as well. Not the nails, but the screws lol. I didn't know what was being put on the screw though.

Just for the record I wasn't and I'm not talking shit either. In fact I was trying to give advice. Also I understand she is fairly new to building. If "someone" (and I'm generalizing here) can't take criticism then they shouldn't post up their work on a forum. I bet the box will be great. I think the build quality can improve and I said as much in my earlier post. The only way to get good is to put in the work.

I can care less if its a guy or girl. Who the hell cares ..really.

and yes I'd like to see more pics too. I'd really like to see the finished product.

I agree. Seeing that I've only seen 2 boxes from her...which were probably the only two..I didn't expect good results to be honest. I personally wouldn't be making money off of something that you've done twice, let alone with the proper knowledge. I intend zero offense, I'm just stating it how it is (which I will always do //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif ). So my advice to you is to not stop making boxes, but build multiple ones for your OWN speakers to see how the sound works so that you can learn how things sound in different enclosures. Keep up the good work.

i agree with the too soon to be selling boxes, because personally i would expect better than what you've done if i was paying you. You're new and you're doing great for new (and better than i do caues i'm lazy) but you've also not got a lot of rep. If you screw up on a couple boxes nobody will ever buy anything from you again. If you wait till you're good then sell a few, people will drool over your box. and then the paying people will come and be satisfied.
