No... The back wall would be put on the back , not sitting on the bottom piece.

I have a dumb question. Why do allot of you guys ( or girls ) wait until you have the port glued, and or screwed into the enlcosure to paint them. ive only seen one comment on the cracks in the wood...the rest of you looked over it?..or ignored it cause she's a girl?..just curious cause i know if i posted a box(or anyone else for that matter that was male)that looked like that i sure as h*ll wouldnt be getting the comments she's been getting....not gettign any lately are we fellas:laugh:

anyways...decent box definitely pre drill next time

Wrong, she's relatively new to box building, someone pointed it out and told her how to correct the problem in the future (i.e. don't screw that close to the end of the wood). As long as she did a sufficient job gluing that joint, that little split is not going to matter. No reason to flame her for the rest of the thread... it's not like she pulled a Flakko.

people around this forum need to pull the ***** out of their *** for real. i'm almost at the point where im going to leave and just do the local thing. it's getting retarded on cacom lately, more so than ever. jordan, u know i support u building boxes, predrill next time though. thats a pretty nasty split, but pre drilling and only putting a screw no less than 2 inches from the edge will cure that immediately.
