Greetings all, I'm new to car audio so please don't hit me too hard. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I just bought a hifonics bxi 1606d sub amp and a buddy told me that it will ruin my electrical system in my 2000 Dodge Neon. I guess it's too much power. My question is if I put a high output alternator in will that be enough? What are the perils if I don't put an alternator in right away. I think I'll just not get full power to the amp and the lights will dim and battery will drain but Not fry the electrical system. I appreciate your help in this matter. Happy New Year. Robert.
