So I called Elemental yesterday and talked to them about my 2nd nine.1 going bad. The fuses keep blowing less than a second after turning the key. I spoke to Luke, must be a new guy. Seemed knowledgable and he told me that a likely problem could be low input or line voltage. I have a 200 amp alt, big 3, red top under hood, yellow top in trunk and my lights don't dim too much so I don't think it's low input voltage. However, my H/U is a 4 or 5 yr old Pioneer DEH-650P. I thought maybe my line voltage was low and causing problems in teh power supply. Only happens in my master amp (strapped). I believe this may be the case. The slave amp isn't blowing because the master was acting as a line driver for the slave (is this correct, does the master amp the line voltage for the output to the other amp?) which created sufficient line voltage in teh slave. Hence the no problems in the slave. Does anyone have any experience? Do I need a new H/U? I could use the 880PRS I'm buying for the setup in my sig until I get everything I need for the new setup in the blazer. My nine.1s and SX 15s are in my 99 Grand Prix with teh old h/u.
