Okay looking for mono amp and 2 channel amp on a budget. Mono needs 400-500 watts (2ohm) to run a JL Audio 10w6 and 2 channel 50-75 watts/per channel (4ohm) to run a set of components (brand/model still undetermined). Trying to piece something together for a buddy of mine. Trying to get the amps kinda cheap, but still get something that will last and do the job. Here's what I was looking at, just let me know what you think about the two. New suggestions are also welcomed!
Boston Acoustics GTA-500m ($145) and Boston GTA-502 ($79)
Soundstream RUB1.400 ($123) and Sounstream RUB2.250 ($92)
I figure the Bostons' would be better, but the Sounstream seems to have really good specs and alot people seem to like them. Basically trying to stay around $230 for both amps and he's wanting to stay with the same brands for both! Thanks
