Another Alpine Question

On my 9856, there are only a few settings to mess with. Under Subwoofer System, my options are 1 and 2. Option 2 is louder and more deeper, is it safe to use? What about BBE mode. Under BBE mode, There's effect1, effect2, effect 3, and no effect. Effect 3 is the loudest, but is it safe to use?

Here's the thing. If i use effect3, once i hit volume 23/35, it gets much quieter. I back off to volume 22/35, its louder. I go up to volume 23 again, and everything quiets down. Anyone know why this happens?

its because your sub is bottoming out. turn off bbe which is bass boost. it really depends what you like. but for optimal quality do what i said.

is it the same as the MX function? is it ok to use it while playing at high volume?
