Another aero port Question thread.

i'm having trouble remembering using aeroports being that the last time i calculated them was for my fiberglass enclosure a few years back.

well, i'm using PSP-inc's calc again and i'm trying to get an overall look at if what their numbers are saying is how i should have to total length of the port.

for instance. the overall 4" port kit has an overall length of 18"

now lets say the Flare Port Length Required on the website says 15" for the desired tuning for 2 aeroports.

i know that BOTH ports will have to be 15", BUT will the overall length in general with the flares be the 15"s? like so,

so my example should be fine?

i can't help to think that the "flare to flare" calculation is the amount of straight pipe need prior to adding the flare.

i know that the Straight lenght port(no flares) is a set straight w/o ever using flares.
