Annoying Ring From Amp

alright heres the deal, i have an alpine-mrdm605 amp and sometimes when i turn on my system an annoying ring start to come out of the amp. kind of like when you have a dimmer switch on a light and you dont turn it up all the way and it creates that ring that is like its almost non-existent but you know its there. anyways i need to know how to fix this. any ideas? its a constant ring that eventually stops after 5 minutes or so

Poor grounding could be responsible...not the first time I've heard of this.

yea its kinda wierd. i get that too but im not sure on the grounding though.

I actually just posted about this problem as well. Same thing happened to me with my PA3000 amp. =\

Guess I should check all the grounds, though I'm pretty sure that it's grounded very well.

My bass amp shuts off past vol 45 and i have a dist block with volt meter and its makes that noise and one of the lights go off on it and it rings till i push on the wire or restart head unit/ grounds not the problem

deffective amp maybe? because it kinda stopped when i pushed on my power wire aswell

ya so true... well im gonna fix my grounds anyways and see if it cures the problem, and ill get back to you
