First off.....Dave (pvaudio) i need no comments from you on this, as I know what you will say. Second....I need help.
I was going to the redlight to make a left, and my amp just stops. I turn it back on, and about 5-10 seconds later...pop. amp is in protect. re-secure ground on the amp, pull speaker wires off, still happens.....
Why did it do this do you think? Im about to open it up and see for myself once I find my stubby phillips.
Any guesses as to why? Yes...it's mounted on the box...no I don't think that's what did it as, you can ask anyone a few weeks ago it was in a lot worse mounting than it is currently.
Also.....theres no smoke, no smell, no warning, no touching wires, not a LOT of headlight dimming, have been running it for a month or so now, with no problems. It just happened out of nowhere. car was on, and at a decently high RPM, so I want to say there was plenty of current to pull with the volume level like it was.
