Anyone who has the viper 1200.1

I am just wondering, how come there are 2 (+) speaker outputs and 2 (-) outputs? It is supposed to be a mono amp, so how do I hook it up for 1 ohm? I don't think I got the owners manual since it was a refurb and I can't find it on directed website anymore. Thanks for any help.

There for if you want to run two 4ohm subwoofers to equal a 1ohm load.

The two terminals are connected internally to allow for easier connections. For example: if you connect one DVC 4 sub wired in parallel to one side and another to the other, this will present the amp with a 1 ohm load. Or you can wire the subs in the box for a 1 ohm load and run one set of wires to either of the terminals on the amp.

Ok so I have a 2ohm dvc sub I want to run in 1ohm, just connect it to either side, or positive of one and negative of the other?

I understand that, thats why I purchased the dual 2ohm vc option with my sub. I was just asking if I wanted to get the 1ohm source, if I just hooked it up to one side. I believe thats correct, so thats what I did.

The speaker terminals are paralleled inside the amp. The two sets of terminals simply provide flexibilty for wiring multiple subs.
