Analog AC meter for subwoofer

Hi,

I know that you can measure subwoofer voltage with digital multimeter, but how about analog AC meter? I was thinking to install 0-50V analog AC meter permanently to show subwoofer voltage. Will it interfere the subwoofer or amplifier?

There are VU meters but I don't think you can find suitable driver for the gauge.

I was also wanting to do that. However, it's not as simple as it sounds. Need one with a ton if resistance, so you don't give your amplifier a load below what it is stable to push. It would also rob your sub of usable power, although there is no telling how much.
