An opportunity of a lifetime, well sorta. Need some info guys plz!!

I'm Korean but I'm not in Korea.

I have serched Korean car audio forums and found something useful (I hope).

Won Tec is one of the biggest amp manufacturer in Korea. They have their own brands (idk names) and looks like they also makes OEMs.

And here are some Korean brands.

-Calcel(?) or Kalcel

-Noville(?) (some says this amp is based on Arc amps. not so sure)

-Silence LST (popular brand in korea and the company does upgrades as you like)

-Abyss or Ubyss (not so sure)

-Crossfire is Korea made

-Caliber

Well this is all I could find.

Hope this help.

I would take a 20.1 or something similar. I don't care what it looks like, I usually hide my amps.

Subscribed.

My brother is in Korea as well. He is a Mechanized Infantry Lieutenant, near Pusan I think. I have had thoughts about him getting cheap amps for me over there, but he is clueless about Car audio.

well, its a free market which is better for you. why would i pay triple mark up price? its not as if these U.S companies "own" this company or anything. unless they have patents on certain models. as far as i know, he said i could purchase any boards/amps i wanted, coz i would in fact be buying HIS korean brand, which has awesome boards inside from what ive seen
i will also get some more info on IA amps
oh i was never against you doing it i would proably try and do the same thing if i had the chance let me know some of the prices on any amp that does 2500-3000rms if you can get any i might buy 1 or 2

Crossfire is Korea made
I believe they are a house brand for a company called Chunglam.

-Abyss or Ubyss (not so sure)
It's Abyss....and they are a sister company to Tru Technology for the Korean market....or, I mean, a parts supplier for Tru.....or, I mean, a cheap Asian knockoff of Tru. All depends on which of John Yi's statements you read......... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Chunglam has another house brand, which is Xetec

I don't know anybody else off hand who used Chunglam, but I believe they are fairly good sized.

I don't think many would consider Crossfire "junk", and Xetec has had some reasonably good reviews aswell.
