An odd aerport question?

you can go to 2 8" aeros or a single 10" aero if you want to, but as far as port volume goes ( as several others have already posted) 2 - 6" aeros in a daily application should work very well and keep your port length fairly reasonable, with aeroports (with both flares used) for daily applications you only need about half the port volume of a standard slot port or a non flared round port, with 2 x 6" aeros you will be at 56.52sqin that would be the equivalent to 113sqin with a slot or non flared port , with 2 x 8" aeroports you would have 100.48 sqin, that would basically be the equivalent of 200 sqin of port volume in a straight slot ported enclosure.

With the subwoofers and box you are using I would probably go with the single 10" aeroport( 78.5 sqin / 157 slot port ) if you are going to change it, this would give you more port volume than the 2x 6" aeros and less length to acheive the same tuning as the 2 x 8" aeros.

Thx will3...but what lenth for a 10" port would I need for a tune of about 33-35hz?

Actually after checking the price of a 10" custom plrt It looks like it will cost over $150 or more to Canada so I think Ill just run three 6" aeroports

If I want a tuning at around 34hz and have external dimensions of 34"x32"x15" for two HDC3 15's alum. coils then

would someone know how long the three ports need to be? Thanks!
