I think the type RF amps were made for SQ... but nevertheless, it produces about 1000w, I think, and it should be more tahn enough to power either one of the subs that you mentioned. I think it is a good amp for any sub that will take that kind of power, but you also gotta realise that RF's drop to 2ohms only (people have siad they use a 1ohm load, but it is not recommended by RF tech).

The power HX2 is dual 2ohm, meadning you only have the choice of 1ohm or 4. At 4 ohms, the type RF will drop to half the power level, which is something you do nto want.

The W7, on the other hand, now I dont' know what VC's they use, but someone told me it was a single 4ohm (so that people would have to buy two to dop it to 2ohms), and there are those you say ti is a 3ohm DVC. i noticed rockford amps at the store getting really warm, havent heard too many great things about em either

I have 4 RF Power amps and i have never had a problem with them gettin warm.....but i guess that's what my coolin system is for...

Like Paikiah, I too am a huge fan of RF amps....i never have any problems with them.
