Amps = to ppi 900.4 but cheaper

6.5s will be fine but with a box tuned for lows and mids un deadened and unenclosed, you'll be missing out on the lower to mid midbass range. If you make sure everything is sealed up like its in a sealed box, then there should be no problem.

So build a box for the speakers...that was my plan at first then I came up with the idea to cut then into the door but I think my window might be a problem.. I could space it on with mdf.... Are them foam speaker cup baffles any good. They might not even fit. Do you have link for the dd 6.5

The foam baffle cups generally arent big enough so the speakers are basically strangled and sound pretty nasty afterwards, ITs mainly to protect it from water damage.

No link, you have to hit up a DD dealer around your area, honey dick the shit out of the owner and get a lowered price. DD dealers in california normally charge up the @ss

Would there be another speaker that will do it but easier to get and cheaper
check out prvs, seleniums, crescendos, soundqubed then.
@sharkman this is the answer to your next question,

Tada! I'm a psychic
Wait the prvs? They use these in cars. I don't see any that is in the shape of a normal speaker. So far I think soundqubed has the best price...$54 a pair... Ima check skar...seems a lot of people like their gear

The soundqubeds are very warm sounding speakers but definitely not the loudest/efficient with power of the bunch. They do sound great though.
