Amps = to ppi 900.4 but cheaper

I remember that video, fking hilariously ghetto.
I hate when somebody calls something ghetto. Where I'm from ghetto is surviving and making something out of nothing. Too many times I've seen someone call something ghetto because it didn't cost a lot but it's working for that individual.

I do remember the video also. He wanted to get and that he did. Yeah sounded like crap but you could tell he was happy. I'm not trying to start a debate but where do everyone come off *** being so judgemental.

Most people on here would say that speakers in the grille is ghetto but out here b4 they banned it everyone had it..

Why don't you just do it right. You are here so you know where to get what you need, they have no idea what right is.

6 or 8 Crescendo pwx 6.5s and like two or maybe (do you want to lose hearing? lol) 4 of their supertweeters will get louder than you need. ppi 900.4s are cheap on amazon, run 2 of the PWX's per channel in parallel (2 x 4 ohm ea for a 2 ohm load) and each speaker will get 100w RMS. Get a cheap 50w rms x 2 for the supertweeters and you'll be gold and have more money left over, PWX's are like 35 a piece..

throwing a bunch of coaxials in the doors will get a wow factor from people who don't know how to do it properly. Maybe some coaxials are okay but i'd never run them, even for a PA set up.

I'd do 8 woofers on the PPI and the tweets on a cheap 50-100 watts rms 2 channel off craigslist. Supertweets do not need much power to get loud at all. Anything over half their rated RMS will shred your eardrums. Some supertweets already have the crossover in the package so you might not even need an amp with crossovers for them.
Thanks that's what I was looking for... Now I got a cheap lanzer amp now which is 2 ch..... So with the tweets I couldn't turn them down on the ppi. I would hate to have to deal with 2 amps that don't match

Also would that mean I wouldn't have to get the 900 since the pa woofers are so high

$35 each speaker or pair...I'll check them out...

Now I cut the tweets in a while ago if I just ran 2 of them would you run the outer or inter pair....this is in my vents facing the seats...either way they all are staying even if I just run 2....the dash is cut to fit them

If you want it really loud, you can put more power and it gets more louder and the PPI is very good bang for buck and can feed the mids very nicely. ITS SOOO small that you can hide it under a seat and no one will ever know you have a 4 channel amp. Use a Ysplitter for the RCAs. Try to recoupe some of the costs from selling the sony gs speakers.

That lanzar 2 channel can probably work for the super tweets for now. If you want it even more ear bleeding then you can get more.

Seems like you are going for a mobile concert type of sound. If you can, Fit 8" mids or 10s if you want deep rap vocals and chest punchy midbass.

We were talking about ghetto as in how messy the install was. Wires and stuff everywhere. The dude did clean up the install later on. However from performance perspective, a 15 and a 12 in the trunk would cause massive cancellation resulting in loss of bass along with the sound stage being brought to the rear. Its like watching a concert with your back turned towards the stage. Its kinda wierd. If he wanted all that, he should have it in the front or on the doors to create an encompassing sound

here is the site for pro audio drivers

cheap side, you got pyle, budget side you got PRV and selenium. Expensive side you have eminence and B&C

If you can actually get the DD mids for the price noloud4u says then those are fine too. I've heard they are really loud from cscstang's client install of some of them.

Know I never saw that vid. I was thinking of another one where the guy was in a white SUV and had pa speakers....it was crazy loud but was really trash...

8s I like the sound of that... But I have to see if the will fit in the location I'm thinking of

The VO 6.5s get stupid loud. Just know with PA you really really really get what you pay for. $40 can make a huge difference

Yeah I don't think I can fit the 8s without changing my plans....I don't mind doing fiber glass but never done it and I'm a hands on person(slow) so I might mess something up...here's what I'm working with...I know most people say that I have the perfect truck space wise. But I'm also on a budget....
