Amps stays on after key is off

make sure a piece of that remote turn on wire isnt touching your power input block //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I have seen this happen several times, good point. One little strand of that wire touches the power wire, and the amp stays on all the time.

the thing is i didnt do my own wiring which should have been done from the get go but i didnt because i was being lazy. No relay running to the amp. and it been doing this for about two weeks now. I dont think there is any battery issues and i also have no idea where the remote wire is connected to... but i'll check to see if there remote wire is touching the power and hopefully that solve me problem if not i'll post up tomorrow

Yeah take a look at the positive and remote wire connections at the amp. If there are any stray wires, tape them up or cut them and see if the problem continues.

95% of the time it's a stray strand or two giving the remote a constant +12V

ok i look at the amp and the remote wire isnt touching any of the power, can it be that its grounded some where or is touching the power side of the amp wire else where?

thanks guys, since it was fairly nice out today i went and had a look at my audio wiring, its such a mess, but nothing seemed off except a part of my Remote wire was touching the metal would this have caused the amp staying on?
