I'm rocking a Polk PA500.4 driving SR6500s and Infinity 693.9i's and a Kenwood KAC-7204 pushing two 12" Infinity References. Every once in a while both amps will shut down and not turn back on for a few hours/days. The head unit stays on and continues to push a signal but all speakers and amps are dead and in protect mode. My wiring is correct, I've checked it a million times as well as a professional or two.
I'm wondering if it's possible that I'm pulling too much amperage and bringing my battery below 12V, which is switching off the amps? I'm ruling out a problem with the amps because they both go out at the same time and they receive power in parallel, so if one went out, the other wouldn't know. Both having problems at the same time seems rare so that pretty much leaves me with my car's electrical system having a problem.
Any suggestions?
(Levels are around 1/2 and this happens when it's loud)
