amps are shutting off WTF?!?

ok i still have this problem. the voltage is still droping off. i shortened the ground as much as possible and i installed a 195 amp alt. could this be because my battery is crap? its an autozone 70 dollar POS and ive killed it prolly 10 times. could it be worn out from not having a big enough alt for a long time?

Next time it cuts out check and feel if the amp is warm...u may be asking to much out of the amp....whats the gain at?

i know its not my gains or the amp. the amp has a fan and thermometer built in it doesnt get any warmer than 100 degrees F. this will happen when the car is till cold. i was hitting over 140 on street music and now i can barely get it into the 134-5 area!! WTF!!!!!!!!

You need to get another MM. Check the voltage on the REM and then check the V at the amp using the ground and power wires. If the V is correct on both of those sites, then your amp must be jacked up, or your RCA's are messed up.

I know when i bought my kenwood amp i was warned they dont like a 1 ohm load much, might be something to look into.

try a relay remote wire to 86 ground to 85 acc.12v to 30 and 87 to amp remote input..

not to sound full of myself but my cars wiring is impeccable. grounds are an idea as well seeing as though they are kinda long. the impedences are all ok. my classd amp is rated at 1 ohm and thats what its at.
