I was just worried because with the my headunit on 3/4 (9887), the gain needed to be around 3/4 of a turn to really be up high enough (it's all relative to the input, i know). Wondering how high I should push the amp @ 1ohm.

Are you sure you got the voltage right? what wattage are you looking for @ 1 ohm ?
