amplifier temperature range

i am having a problem with my class d going into protect at high volumes, but, only on days where it is under say 50F. i can power cycle the HU and it will come back on and operate fine at low and mid level volumes.

has anyone else had this problem?

hmm im pretty sure a amp will cut off when it gets up to 180 degrees.didnt know they would cut off when it was to cold tho
