amplifier sugestions

recently bought two jl 10w1v3 subs with 300 rms each at 4 ohms. wondering if you guys have any good suggestions for a mono amp suited for these subs? im not sure if i should go with a 500 rms @ 2 ohms or 600 rms @ 2 ohms amp, what do yall think? ive only just started learning about all this stuff, so im not too knowledgeable in the subject lol

Get a 1200 watt rms at 1 ohm amp. Run it at 2 ohms for 600 rms. it leaves room to upgrade subs later. Look at the sq 1200

but will it work out to 600 rms if its 1200 rms at 1 ohm? nearly ever amp ive seen has different numbers at different ohms that arent simply multiplications of each other, like if it were 1k at 1 ohm, its something like 600 at 2 ohm, not 500 like i would guess. plus i dont want to accidentally blow my subs lol thank you for the reply btw!

The lower the ohm load, the least resistance, thus the more watts provided. The sq1200 would be perfect for your set up.

No. Soundquebed. But a vfl amp would work to like the 100.1

A JL 500/1 would work well, too. Any quality amp that outputs 500-700w at 2 ohms should satisfy your goals
