Amplifier shuts off after switching sources

Hi, I have a 96 Toyota Tacoma with a CDM- 7874 Alpine Deck. I just bought 2 pairs of 6 1/2 AudioBaun speakers and a 4-channel Volfenhag ZX-7170 amplifier.

I got it working to where I can listen to the radio but when I switch to any other source like CD or AUX mode the amp shuts off.

I'm not sure what to do, i looked in the manuals and everything for my deck and amp and it looks like i connected everything correctly. I'm using low level RCA audio cables for my amp input.

sounds like you used the power antenna wire instead of remote turn on from the back of your radio... use blue/white instead of blue for your remote wire
