Amplifier setting question

Now im not jumping into this without having read the tutorials and trying them first. So what im asking is I have 2 1ohm subs. do i multiply it my deseride wattage by 1 ohm or 2 ohm (since there too subs) or do i multiply it by the ohm load im giving say i decide to wire it at .25 ohm?

If you can help me out my set up is in my sig //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

2- atomic ap-spl - 1000 rms 1 ohm subs

1 - Rd 1750 amplifier underr ated at 1750 rms

So if im wiring these subs to a .25 ohm . i would calculate them by my impedance = .25? or = (.25*2=.50) total impendance. then would i also take the total rms both subs can take? say...1000 rms at rated..so i know they can take well over that, but to be sure i will not clip i can keep power under its limits to be safe becasuse 2 k of power..is more than enough //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

so heres what i got if i wire at .25 ohm

2000*.25 = 500

sqrt/500= 22.3 total volts i should see out of my amp

or am i missing something?
