Amplifier safety question please help!

So here is my dilema, i have a crunch p1100.2 amp, it pushes 1100w maxx @ 4ohms.

im planning to use it to run 1 1200watt, (i think it was 600rms) DVC 4ohm sub. but the problem is when i use the rockford fosgate wiring wizard, it tells me i can either hook up the sub to run in a 1 ohm load or an 8 ohm load, the sub is shit so idc if it blows, but would it be ok on my amp to run the sub on 1 ohm? also if not, i have another sub, that is 800 maxx, 450 rms, DVC 4ohm, since both subs are dvc 4 ohms are they safe to wire together? if so that would be nice because then i could wire them to a 4 ohm load :/ hope i wasnt consufing and im a total noob so sorry if this is a dumb idea lol.

it would either be 2 or 8 ohms, youre safe at 2 ohms

Whether or not you can run an amp @ 1 ohm is totally dependent on the amp. Look up the specs for it and see if it is 1 ohm stable.

whoops i didnt mean 1 ohm sorry, i ment can i wire it for 2 ohms, (was thinkign 1 ohm cus i was lookign at fi btls lol)

so its ok then? wont hurt the amp any?

That amp is 4 ohm stable when bridged. You'll have to wire it to 8 ohms and only get about 55w rms to the sub. Get a different amp and use that one on your front speakers

And for future reference..peak power means diddly squat...its only use is to impress n00bs
